Timberhill Lodge is nicely furnished, comfortable and peacefull atmosphere. Fully equipped kitchen and living area with wood burning fireplace. The master bedroom has a king size bed and bath. Full furnished basement has a large family room with game tables and a hide abed. The two bedroom have twin bed and have a full bath located between them.
There are many activities for the entire family. Bring the kids for a great weekend get away, where they can hike around Big Hill Lake or other near by trails or practice their fishing skills on our private 13 acre lake located near lodge.

Big Hill Lake is one of the clearest lakes in Kansas! Access to boat through private property but must be tended to daily with boat storage available at the lodge.
A variety of fish include largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, crappie, channel and flathead catfish and walleye. With several fishing clubs from accross Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma hosting tournaments throughout the year at one of the two launch boat ramps on the lake, managed by the Corp of Engineers.
You provide all fishing gear needed. Available for rent is a trolling fishing boat and a paddle boat to be used only on our private 13 acre lake located on this private property. Big Hill Lake has been listed by Field and Stream magazine as one of the "Top 20 Bass Lakes". The lake is formed inside of 20 square miles of shoreline with 1,240 acres of surface, at normal pool.
Swimming along one of Kansas only sand beaches in clear water with a convenient changing house provided at the Mound Valley entrance.

amenities not listed above: While visiting Timberhill Lodge you will find clean rooms with comfortable accommodations, consisting of air conditioning, stereo and TV and VCR for viewing your favorite movies or keeping track of local weather. The lodge provides a downright homey comfort with its log cabin atmosphere in the middle of 400 acres of wooded land.

Rates
Please contact us for our most current rates.
A 50 percent deposit is required for the entire length of stay when reservations are made, with a minimum of two night stay, the remaining balance is due upon check in. No-shows or guest leaving prior to the departure will be charged for the original reservations unless the lodge is re-booked. Changes to reservations must be made seven days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations received within seven days prior to your arrival date will be subject to a penalty of the full amount of the deposit.
